On my recent trip, I stayed for 2 nights in a Single Room while exploring Margam Country Park and the local attractions. The room was spacious and had a nice blend of modern fittings and rustic charm, making it quite comfortable. I really appreciated the continental breakfast selection. it had a spread that was perfectly sufficient for a good start to the day. The owners were very welcoming and even went out of their way to fix a minor shower issue promptly, which really enhanced my stay.

The beautiful hotel offered a cozy family room with a fine view. I loved the comfortable beds and the immaculate cleanliness. Barbara, the host, provided really good hospitality, sharing her local knowledge. The continental breakfast selection, though do-it-yourself, included amazing croissants and plenty of options. I appreciated the relaxed, homely atmosphere. The room got a bit too warm, even after switching off the radiators was nice. The coffee machine was tricky to operate, resulting in a difficult start to the day. It was a great place, but minor adjustments could enhance the experience.

Thick stone walls give the building character. The open garden provided a perfect spot for morning coffee, and the private lounge in the family room was a nice bonus.
Bathroom access could be tricky without handrails, and the rugs on the wooden floor were slippery, leading to a few near slips. The heating made the room stuffy despite turning off the radiators, and the TV was on the smaller side for the space, limiting viewing pleasure.

Really enjoyed my stay with a cozy large room and a sweet touch of biscuits upon arrival. The garden area was perfect for morning coffee, and I loved chilling by the barbecue after a long day of walks. Only downside was a bit of creaky floor noise, but didn't bother me too much. 😊
